Bad weather keeps coming after rain with snow on Friday

After all the rain, certain areas of Eastern Nova Scotia just might have a white Christmas after all.

A rainfall warning continues today with an additional 50 to 100 mm expected by this evening, at times exceeding 15 mm/hour, and rain lasting until Thursday morning.

Environment Canada says it’s for eastern mainland Nova Scotia and Cape Breton.

But that’s not all, after all the rain, snow is now in the forecast for later in the week.

The forecaster has now issued a special weather statement for Friday calling for significant snowfall and strong winds.

Environment Canada says this could call hazardous driving conditions and to monitor for alerts.
