Victoria County to receive $75,000 for clean energy product

A big step toward cutting carbon emissions in Victoria County.

The area has received a grant of $75,000 toward their clean energy project called the Municipal EV chagrin corporation feasibility study, thanks to the Low Carbon Communities program.

It’s part of a province-wide initiative that has earmarked $1.8 million in 2023-24 for 31 different projects, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and advance clean energy solutions.

“Nova Scotia’s dedication to clean energy solutions is both commendable and essential for our shared future,” said MLA Bain “Victoria is proud to be part of this vital journey towards a greener tomorrow.”
