Nova Scotia property assessments are in the mail

If you own property in Nova Scotia, you should receive your 2024 Property Assessment Notice soon.

The Property Valuation Services Corporation says they mailed out assessments to the province’s 647,000 property owners January 8th.

According to PVSC, property values increased by 17.72 per cent overall.

The independent, municipally funded, not-for-profit organization says assessments reflect a market value as of January 1st, 2023, and the physical state of properties as of December 1st, 2023.

Property assessment appeals must be received by midnight, February 8th.
