SiRT to investigate man’s injuries during Guysborough arrest

Nova Scotia’s Serious Incident Response Team will investigate injuries in a Guysborough arrest.

RCMP responded to a complaint of a domestic disturbance on Tuesday in Sunnyville.

SiRT says officers arrested a man who wouldn’t leave the premises and resisted police.

The officers struck the male one or more times, and he ended up with a fractured facial bone.

SiRT will conduct the investigation.
