27-year-old charged with murder after death in Antigonish County

A 27-year-old man is facing a charge of second-degree murder after a death in Antigonish County.

RCMP were called to investigate an incident at a home in Paq’tnkek on February 4.

A 40-year-old man was found dead at the home when officers arrived. Police say the man was from the First Nation, but his identity has not been publicly released.

The accused is due in court on March 6 in Antigonish.
