NSCC continues to move closer to strike action.
Conciliation officers filed a report to the province Thursday, saying the college and The Atlantic Academic Union, have reached an impasse.
The college says the union must provide two days notice, before any job action.
In addition, a two week ‘cooling off’ period begins today.
According to the lead negotiator for the union, Susan Thompson-Graham, the key issues include working conditions, job security and wages.
The two sides have been negotiating since August.
