A Richmond County man has been charged with sexual offences.
RCMP say officers learned that the man had sexual contacts with minors and created and distributed child pornography.
Police arrested him on December 28th, 2023.
On March 8th, Mounties charged a 19-year-old man from French Cove with multiple offences:
- Possession of Child Pornography
- Sexual Interference
- Luring a Child (two counts)
- Extortion (two counts)
- Making Sexually Explicit Material Available to Child (two counts).
He was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court on April 11th.
Investigators believe that there may be more victims.
