Thousands without power after wind and rain storm

Thousands woke up to no power in Nova Scotia.

As many as 27,000 were without power early Sunday morning.

Nova Scotia Power crews are out restoring outages when safe to do so, check the outage map for the latest.

Rainfall and wind warnings were issued throughout the province, some still remain in areas of eastern Nova Scotia.

Wind gusts reached 100 kilometres an hour in some areas overnight.

Conditions will improve gradually through the day Sunday.
