RCMP believe alcohol was a factor in a weekend crash in Antigonish County that sent a man to hospital and knocked out power.
Crews responded to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 7 in Salt Springs late Saturday night.
A Volkswagen had gone off the road and hit a power pole.
The driver and only person in the vehicle, a 17-year-old Merigomish man, was seriously injured.
Police say they do not know at this point whether his injuries were life-threatening.
The crash investigation continues.
