Paving project to continue in Inverness County

A stretch of road between Margaree Harbour and Dunvegan is going to continue getting upgraded.

In a release, Inverness MLA Allan MacMacster says a 4.3 km section of Route 219 will be paved this year to continue the 3.3 km project that was completed last summer.

It will bring the total new pavement on the road to 7.6 km.

MacMaster says many people like to use this coastal route that is between Cheticamp and Inverness.

“It is home to some spectacular beaches and experiences.”
