Highway 104 reopened following crash in Port Malcolm

Highway 104 was temporarily closed after a vehicle hit a deer in Port Malcolm Tuesday morning.

A vehicle was travelling on the highway shortly before 11 a.m. when it hit the animal and then was rear-ended by another vehicle, says RCMP Cpl. Guillaume Tremblay.

The highway was temporarily closed in both directions between exit 43 and 44 and reopened at about 12:20 p.m.

As of 12:30 p.m., Tremblay was unable to say if anyone was injured.

The investigation continues.
