Man stabbed multiple times in Louisdale, airlifted to hospital

A 53-year-old Dundee man is in hospital after a stabbing in Louisdale.

RCMP say it was just after 4 p.m., Thursday on the 500 block of Highway 320.

When they arrived, the victim had been in a fight on the side of the road and had multiple stab wounds.

He was airlifted to hospital.

The suspect, a 27-year-old man from Louisdale ran before police got there.

He later turned himself in to the Port Hawkesbury detachment and being charged for aggravated assault.

He was in court Friday.
