The Stampede but make it Nova Scotian

Looks like Nova Scotia will be getting it’s very own Stampede!

The Nova Scotia Stampede will include a sanctioned, international Rodeo consisting of barrel racing, bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback riding & gymkhana.

(I had no idea what gymkhana was – it’s an equestrian event consisting of speed pattern racing and timed games for riders on horses)

The Nova Scotia Stampede will be held in Bible Hill from Thursday September 26th to Sunday September 29th.

In addition to the rodeo events, there will also be concerts:

Thursday: Natalie MacMaster | George Canyon | Matt Minglewood | Heather Rankin
Friday: The Road Hammers | Jess Moskaluke
Saturday: The Stanfields | Shanneyganock
Sunday: Tom Cochrane | Campbell & Johnston
