Man arrested in Inverness Co. drug bust expected back in court

A suspect from Cape Breton Co. charged following a traffic stop in Inverness Co. is expected back in court Monday.

David Carroll, 44, faces a charge of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

The Sydney-area man is scheduled for election-and-plea in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court after the hearing was adjourned in January.

RCMP say they stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 105 in Aberdeen in November.

They say they found 160 grams of cocaine and some drug paraphernalia.
