One of the ferries that runs between Nova Scotia and PEI is temporarily out of commission for repairs.
In a release, Northumberland Ferries Limited says all sailings of the MV Confederation through September 29th are cancelled.
A mechanical issue caused the vessel to collide with the wharf, resulting in damage to the ship’s bow visor.
Customers with reservations will be contacted to arrange a refund or rebook.
In the meantime, the MV Saarema 1 will continue to operate on a four-trip daily schedule.
