A man has been charged with attempted murder after a shooting in Frankville.
Antigonish County District RCMP say a woman was allegedly shot inside a home on Havre Boucher Road Thursday night before 7:30.
There were several adults and children home at the time of the incident, no one else was hurt.
RCMP say it was not a random incident, and the accused and victim are known to each other.
The 28-year-old man was held in custody after a court appearance Friday.
He’ll be back in court on Wednesday.
