Made in VS Product of Canada – what’s the difference?

After tariffs for goods coming from Canada being delayed for at least 30 days, Trump announced yesterday that they will come into effect next week.

Something to keep in mind if you are trying to be more mindful when shopping and purchase Canadian products when possible:

๐๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‚๐š๐ง๐š๐๐š:
at least 98% of the ingredients or components are from Canada and the final processing is done in Canada.

๐Œ๐š๐๐ž ๐ข๐ง ๐‚๐š๐ง๐š๐๐š:
the ingredients or the materials can come from other countries. But 51% of the production cost has to be in Canada.
