More than 1,000 haver the lights back on in a few areas of Cape Breton according to Nova Scotia Power.
The Nova Scotia Power outage map showed the areas included were near Mason Point, Big Pond and Eskasoni.
Most have power restored except for the Mason Point area.
The cause is being investigated.
