A Nova Scotian is a PWHL champion for the first time.
Mae Batherson of New Minas is part of the Minnesota Frost, who won their second straight Walter Cup.
She put up three assists in 25 games this season.
The former Syracuse University defender is the younger sister of Ottawa Senators forward Drake Batherson.
