Search for missing 40-year-old man in Sheet Harbour continues

Police are continuing to search for a 40-year-old man who was last seen Sunday in Sheet Harbour.

A vulnerable person’s alert was issued Monday for Brian John Matthew Warrington.

That has been lifted, but police and search crews have continued to look for the man along the East River, Hwy 7 and Hwy 224 in the Sheet Harbour Area.

Warrington is described as 6 feet, 210 lbs, with brown hair, brown eyes and walks with a limp.

Information gathered suggests he is known to hitchhike to Halifax and surrounding communities.

If you have provided a ride to a man with his description, you are asked to call police.

If you have any information or video footage of Hwy 7 between the 22000 and 23000 blocks on May 24 or 25 call police at 902-490-5020.
