Child, 6, offered candy and a drive by man in Dartmouth

A six-year-old boy was approached by a man he didn’t know in Dartmouth.

Police say it was on Bow Street between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., Saturday.

The man offered the child candy and a drive.

The boy refused and ran into his house.

The driver is described as a white man, around 45 to 55-years-old, balding black hair, with no facial hair.

He was driving a beige convertible and at the time the roof was down.

If you have any information or video from the area of Bow Street and Marcs Way around the time of the incident you are asked to call police at 902-490-5020.
