Sunset Series music fest coming back to Inverness County

A seasonal musical tradition is coming back to Inverness County.

The Sunset Series will be at the Inverness County Centre for the Arts, with its first show just around the corner.

The Centre says it will be an “unforgettable evening” featuring East Coast icons David Gunning and J.P. Cormier alongside local talent, Alexander Anderson.

Anderson, the opening act, will donate half of his artist fee to Feed Nova Scotia.

It’s a tradition to celebrate community, music and summer.

“This event captures everything we love about summer on the East Coast – great music, meaningful community support and gathering together in a beautiful outdoor setting,” says Olivia MacDonald, Director of Events.

It will be rain or shine, and you are reminded to bring a lawn chair or blanket.

It kicks off 6:30 p.m., Saturday, July 5.
