UPDATE: Highway 7 reopened after crash in Antigonish County

A section of Highway 7 near Lochaber has reopened after a crash closed it in both directions on Saturday, RCMP said.

The closure affected the area near the 900 block.

Police first reported the incident on social media just before 2 p.m. and asked drivers to avoid the area and expect delays.

As of late Saturday afternoon, RCMP confirmed the road is fully open again.

There’s still no word on injuries or further details about the crash.
