30-year-old in hospital after knife attack in Whycocomagh

A 30-year-old man is in hospital after a knife attack in Whycocomagh.

The RCMP says it happened early in the morning Monday on Dianne’s Lane.

Police say two men were fighting when one, aged 29, assaulted the other with a knife.

The 30-year-old victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

The suspect faces multiple charges, including assault with a weapon and breaking and entering.

The man will appear in Port Hawkesbury court on Wednesday.
