Beach cleanup bingo back in Inverness Co.

Here’s a fun way to help keep Inverness County’s shoreline beautiful.

Beach Cleanup Bingo is back and gives you a chance to win grocery store gift cards by picking up litter.

Solid Waste Educator Nicole Latimer says the community challenge has been a local favourite for the past few years.

The municipality will have pop-up beach tables with everything needed to take part. They’ll offer litter cleanup supplies, bingo cards, free blue bags and waste sorting guides, plus refreshments.

You’ll find the pop-up tables at Inverness Beach and Sunset Beach in Port Hood on July 23rd and 30th. Rain dates are July 24th and 31st.
