21 more schools to offer child care in N.S.

More than 1,200 new spaces for kids in before-and-after school programs.

The province says 21 new schools will have the program this year, it’s now in more than 100 schools.

It provides care for kids aged 4-12 before and after class.

Education minister Brendan Maguire says it helps make life easier for families and ensures parents have affordable child care.

They say they’ll look to add the program to more schools this year.
