Update: Boil water advisory lifted for Whycocomagh

The Municipality of Inverness County says the Boil Water Advisory for all users of the Whycocomagh water system has been lifted.

According to the initial release, the advisory followed a water leak reported Friday on Milford Road and was expected to remain in place until at least Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

The municipality had said the water system repair work was complete on Friday, but staff would return Tuesday to finish this work.
In Sunday’s update shortly after 6:00 p.m., the municipality says if you suspect a water leak, please call the emergency line at 902-258-5048.
