Power out in Cheticamp area

Crews are working to restore power for some residents of Inverness County.

According to the Nova Scotia Power outage map, about 2000 customers are affected in Cheticamp and surrounding communities as of 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The outage is due to a transmission interruption.

The utility estimates that power will be restored by 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
