Madison Violet announces farewell tour + album

After 25 years of making music together, Brenley MacEachern and Lisa MacIsaac will mark both their 25th anniversary and their final year together as a band. Lisa has strong connections to the Quad Counties, she grew up in Creignish, Inverness County. Lisa and her brother Ashley have been entertaining audiences from a very young age. Brenley also has Cape Breton roots, her father is from Craigmore & Christy’s Look Off is named after her grandmother, Christy MacEachern.

To celebrate, Madison Violet will release The Best of Brenley & Lisa on October 2. The track list will be fan favourites and personally chosen songs.

Over the years, Madison Violet have earned critical acclaim and loyal audiences with their poetic songwriting and seamlessly intertwined voices. Their many accolades include a JUNO nomination for Roots Traditional Album of the Year, a Canadian Folk Music Award for Vocal Group of the Year, multiple ECMA nominations, and the distinction of being the first Canadians to win the Maxell John Lennon Songwriting Grand Prize. Their most previous release, Eleven, further cemented their reputation and earned them a Producer of the Year nomination at the CFMAs.

Now, as they take a final bow, Madison Violet promise a tour filled with honesty and unforgettable performances – whether you’ve seen them 50 times or are hearing them for the very first.
