Update: Missing persons found in Antigonish Co.

RCMP say the search for missing persons in Antigonish County is over.

In a post on X at about 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, the RCMP said officers and Ground Search and Rescue were in the area of Cape George on Rear Georgeville Road near Bubbling Spring Trail in relation to a missing person search.

Police issued an update at 6:00 p.m. to say they have been found, and crews will be leaving the area.

They have not provided further details.

Update 6 p.m.: The missing persons have been found safe. RCMP officers and Ground Search and Rescue will be leaving the area.
