Rain, wind heading toward parts of N.S.

A lot more rain is on the way for eastern Nova Scotia.

Environment Canada says up to 50mm will fall with winds that will gust up to 80 km/h.

The system tracking southeast of the province is expected to start Tuesday morning and last into Wednesday as it heads toward Newfoundland.

It will affect all of Cape Breton, the Quad Counties and stretch down toward Tatamagouch and Ecum Secum.

The forecaster says to watch for alerts.
