Shelburne County woman latest millionaire in Firefighters 50/50

Another life-changing night for a Nova Scotian.

Heather Ross-Barkhouse of Shag Harbour, Shelburne County won the Nova Scotia Firefighters 50/50 on Friday night.

She won a grand prize of over $1.2 million.

It’s the third consecutive week that the firefighters 50/50 has made someone a millionaire.

Ross-Barkhouse bought her tickets in support of the Island and Barrington Passage Fire Department, so they get a bonus of $1,000.
