Snow, ice pellets, freezing rain, and rain are expected across Antigonish County from Sunday morning to late Sunday night.
Environment Canada says the wintry precipitation is expected to begin with snow in the morning and transitions to ice pellets and freezing rain, ending in rain by the late afternoon or early evening.
This transition to rain will likely take longer to occur in higher terrain, which includes the Cobequid Pass.
Monitor forecasts for updates and it is recommended to adjust travel plans to avoid the worst conditions.
