Strong winds that may cause damage are expected this evening in Halifax County (east of Porters Lake), Guysborough County and Cape Breton.
Environment Canada says westerly wind gusts can hit up to 90 km/h until tonight.
They remind you to secure loose objects and that high-sided vehicles can expect to be pushed around by the wind.
Please monitor alerts and forecasts by Environment Canada.
