Olympic hockey: Canada wins OT thriller over Czechia

A heartstopping Olympic quarterfinal has Canada onto the semis.

Mitch Marner scored in overtime as Canada beat Czechia 4-3 Wednesday.

The Canadians were down a goal in the third, when Nick Suzuki tied it with 3:27 left.

Goaltender Jordan Binnington made several key saves late to keep it tied.

Captain Sidney Crosby left the game in the second period after taking a hit, he did not return.

His status for Friday’s semifinal is unknown.
