Water main replacement for Richmond County

Improved water infrastructure is coming to some Richmond County residents.

$250,000 is being invested to replace 400 metres of a water main in Louisdale along Bennies Lane.

“Louisdale depends on water infrastructure that works, and this investment makes sure it will,” said Richmond MLA Trevor Boudreau.

“Renewing the water main on Bennies Lane means residents in our community can count on reliable service today and well into the future.”

This work will renew essential water distribution groundwork and support reliable service for the community.

The investment is coming from the Growth and Renewal for Infrastructure Development (GRID) Program.

The Houston Government has invested over $257 million in municipal infrastructure across the province since 2021.
