A goalie from Antigonish is an NCAA champion.
Rhyah Stewart and the Wisconsin Badgers took the women’s Division I hockey title on the weekend.
Stewart had seven wins in her debut season.
Last year she was in the Maritime Hockey League, and also played for the Cape Breton Eagles during the preseason.
Stewart has also represented Canada at the World U18 Women’s championship.

Stewart posted a 7-2 record this season with a .924 SV% and a 1.79 GAA.
