Seal Island Bridge closed due to jackknifed truck

Drivers in Cape Breton are being asked to avoid the Seal Island Bridge.

Highway 105 is closed in both directions near Bras d’Or Lake after a truck jackknifed.

All lanes are shut down at this point, and there’s no word on when it will reopen.

Traffic is being stopped in the area, with delays expected.

Drivers are being asked to slow down and be prepared to stop as crews work at the scene.

According to Nova Scotia 511 it the bridge will remain closed until further notice.
