The RCMP are looking for naming help once again – it’s not puppies this time, it’s horses.
The name the foal contest asks kids to name a foal that one day could be part of the world-famous Musical Ride.
The Musical Ride’s Breeding Program needs help naming up to 9 adorable foals.
To enter kids must be:
- 14 years old or under
- submit a name that starts with the letter C
- names should have a maximum of 12 letters
- enter only once
- live in Canada
- enter by no later than April 24, 2026, at 11:59 pm Eastern Time
9 winning names will be chosen from across Canada and the RCMP Musical Ride and Heritage Branch will announce the winners in May.
Winners will receive an official RCMP prize pack: a certificate and a photo of the foal they helped name.
