Woman arrested in Port Hawkesbury drug bust scheduled to return to court

A suspect charged in relation to a drug bust in Port Hawkesbury is expected back in court Monday.

RCMP say they searched a home in the town, and seized oxycodone, marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia in July.

Darlene Bowen, 54, has been charged with possession of oxycodone and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Bowen is scheduled for election-and-plea in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court after the hearing was adjourned four times.

A man, 54, arrested in the bust was not charged.
