Wanda Ann Warner

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Wanda Ann Warner on Friday, May 8, 2026, at home. Born on January 23, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Mae (Ryan) MacKinnon and Francis Benoit. Wanda was married to the love of her life Gary Warner for 26 years. They lived in Havre Boucher for many years.

She was a stay at home person who enjoyed the simple things in life. She enjoyed baking and chatting with her friends. Over the past 7 years she and Gary welcomed many exchange students from all over the world into their home. She grew attached to each and everyone of them. She was very proud to be a member of AA for 33 years.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Gary; son, Shawn Pieschke and his children, Jordan, Broke and Jessica; her stepsons, Anthony and Austin. She also leaves to mourn her passing her sisters, Sharon Porter (Mike), Country Harbour; Dianne Schoeman (Hank), Ontario; many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Wanda was predeceased by her brothers, Frankie and Wayne Benoit. Her maternal grandmother, Minnie Ryan who she was very close to and her paternal grandparents, Martha (Myette) and Vincent Benoit.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 14 in St. Paul’s Centre, Havre Boucher. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Friday from St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Havre Boucher with Father Allan MacPhie officiating. A reception will follow the funeral mass in the Community Centre. Burial at a later date.

Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Wanda may be made to St. Paul’s Luncheon or to the Havre Boucher Vol. Fire Dept. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
