2 arrested, drugs, guns, motorcycles seized after homes searched near Antigonish

Two people were arrested and drugs, firearms and a couple of motorcycles were seized after two homes were searched near Antigonish.

RCMP say it happened on June 11 on Summerside Rd. in Heatherton and Williams Point Rd. in Antigonish, as part of an ongoing investigation.

A man is now facing 25 offences including drug trafficking. He appeared in court Friday, remains in custody and is scheduled to reappear, June 19.

The other person was released on conditions to appear in court in August.

The VINs on the motorcycles appeared to be tampered with. An auto theft investigator is helping with the investigation.

Offices want to return the Harley Davidson and Yamaha to their owners.
