Nova Scotia diesel users are expected to see more relief at the pumps after the Nova Scotia Energy Board invoked its interrupter clause for the second consecutive day.
The board announced Tuesday that another adjustment is necessary because of a significant shift in market prices.
The move comes one day after diesel prices fell 7.1 cents per litre, lowering the provincial minimum price to 195.1 cents per litre.
Industry reports indicate another decrease is expected when the latest interrupter takes effect at midnight.
If forecasts prove accurate, diesel prices could fall by roughly 15 cents per litre over a two-day period.
Gasoline prices will not be affected by the latest adjustment.
