Serious crash closes section of Hwy 103 near Barrington

A serious crash has closed part of Highway 103 in Barrington after a transport truck and at least one car collided, sources tell our newsroom.

The RCMP said the highway is shut down between Exit 29 and Exit 30 in a social media post just after 7:30 a.m.

But a spokesperson for the RCMP says they cannot comment on potential injuries yet.

Mounties are asking drivers to steer clear and use different routes where they can.

Traffic is slow through the area, and delays are expected.
