Updated: Interrupter clause spikes price of diesel

The price of diesel has taken a jump.

The Nova Scotia Energy Board says they invoked the interrupter clause, Wednesday.

Diesel has gone up by 7.6 cents to 193.0 per litre.

Gas was not affected and remains at 168.9.

The energy board says the price shift is due to a “significant shift in the market price.”
