Heat warning for most of Nova Scotia

A heat warning is in place for all of mainland Nova Scotia.

Environment Canada says temperatures will reach up to 32 but feel closer to 40, Thursday and Friday but the head could linger into Saturday.

At night, it will only cool to about 17 degrees.

Environment Canada says to drink water often, use air conditioning or a fan and stay somewhere cool, if possible.

The forecaster says to follow the advice of your region’s public health authority.
