April 30, 1939 – May 31, 2026

Beverly Alice MacQuarrie passed away at her home on May 31, 2026, at the age of 87. 

Beverly will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her son, Greg MacQuarrie; her daughter-in-law, Leilani; and her grandson, Callum. She was predeceased by her mother, Mabel; her sisters, Phyllis and Nellie; her husband, Lauchlin; and her longtime companion, John MacMillan. 

To everyone who knew her, Beverly was a compassionate and caring person who loved to laugh, have fun, and share stories. She was a devoted mother to her son, Greg, and always put him first, whether by cheering him on at his sporting events or simply being by his side through life’s moments, both big and small. 

Beverly enjoyed playing the fiddle, working on puzzles, her cats and opening her home to family and friends. She was a friend and confidant to many and cherished the friendships she developed over the years. Her kindness, loyalty, and genuine interest in others made those friendships endure. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all those who took the time to know and support Beverly over the years. Your kindness and friendship enriched her life, and your care and compassion will never be forgotten. 
Beverly’s warmth, sense of humor, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. 

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Green’s Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury on August 5, 2026 from 5-7pm. Interment will take place on August 6, 2026 at 10am in SouthBrook Cemetery, Sydney Road, Port Hawkesbury.
