This 3 day workshop is to let caregivers know they are not alone, and that there are people who understand. It is to give the caregiver the tools they need.
This is a workshop to provide more information associated to the book Caregiver’s Guide. Not about the selfcare side, though it is a section in the book, but more focused on the caregiver that gets thrown into caring for someone and has no idea what to do next. This workshop is about how to keep and build a strong relationship with the person they are caring for and deal with what they are going through.
I have been a caregiver many times throughout my life, from my mom’s dementia, my daughter’s brain injury, but the latest being my two siblings with cancer in the last 5 years. When I finally had time to breathe after my sister’s passing in April of 2024, I felt the push of God to write the book. Now I really want to bring people together, so that they know they have the tools and support to move forward in this journey with support and confidence.
The workshop includes a copy of the book, the workbook, food provided on Saturday, and a time of restoration and learning.
