It’s a picture-perfect beach day across much of Nova Scotia today, with sunshine and warm temperatures from coast to coast.
In Port Hood, beachgoers are enjoying plenty of sunshine with the air temperature sitting at 26°C and the water a comfortable 20°C. A light southerly breeze is keeping things pleasant, and the ocean is nice and calm with no surf to speak of.
Over in Inverness, it’s another beautiful day. Temperatures have climbed to 25°C, the water is also 20°C, and a gentle west wind is making for ideal beach conditions. The ocean remains calm with flat water and no surf.
At Point Michaud, the sunshine continues, although it’s a little cooler with an air temperature of 23°C. Water temperatures are sitting at 16°C, and there’s just a light onshore breeze. A small 0.1-metre surf is rolling in, adding a little movement to the shoreline.
In Pomquet, beach conditions are nearly perfect. It’s sunny and 26°C, with the water temperature reaching 20°C. A calm northeast wind and no surf are making for a relaxing day by the water.
And in Bayfield, the sunshine is paired with an air temperature of 26°C and water temperatures at 20°C. Winds are completely calm, and the ocean is flat, creating ideal conditions for swimming, paddling, or simply soaking up the sun.
