New Indigenous market opens in Annapolis Valley

Glooscap First Nation is celebrating the grand opening of a brand-new market in the Annapolis Valley.

On Sunday, members joined Chief Andrea Paul for the opening of Kluskap Market, which is 100 per cent community owned and built.

In a social media post, Paul says, “If you are driving down that part of the highway, this stop is a must. They have a gas station, Tim’s, gaming and now an incredible market to get some fresh seafood, meat, and produce – all locally sourced.”
